SEPULTURA

Sepultura adalah band metal thrash Brasil, dibentuk pada tahun 1983. Nama mereka berarti "kuburan" dalam bahasa Portugis, yang mereka memilih setelah Max Cavalera, salah satu anggota pendiri, sedang menerjemahkan lirik lagu Motörhead Dancing "di Grave Anda. Sepultura dibentuk di Belo Horizonte, Brasil pada tahun 1983 oleh Max Cavalera ( gitar dan vokal), adiknya Igor Cavalera (drum), Paulo Pinto bass dan Jairo Guedes (gitar). Sepultura menandatangani Records Cogumelo setelah beberapa tahun melakukan, dengan suara dipengaruhi oleh band-band favorit mereka seperti RDP, Discharge, Dimiliki, GBH dan Metallica. EP pertama mereka Kehancuran Bengis, split dengan album Overdosis 's pada flipside. LP

Profil SIKSA KUBUR

Group band metal SIKSA KUBUR terbentuk 6 july 1996. Nama tersebut diambil dari band yang menjadi tolak ukur mereka dalam bermusik yaitu SEPULTURA yang berarti kuburan. Band yang satu ini memulai aksinya dari event-event UNDERGROUND.

Akhirnya sejarah baru untuk kesuksesan SIKSA KUBUR mulai terukir pertama kali ketika mulai mencicipi dunia rekaman Juli hingga September 2006. Dan akhirnya merilis album perdana dengan titel THE CARNAGE

Album ini dirilis dan didistribusikan oleh EXTREME SOUL PRODUCTION dalam sebuah kaset & CD. Album ini mendapat tanggapan yang positif dari kalangan pemerhati musik UNDERGROUND khususnya album ini terjual 1000 keping CD & 500 copy kaset.

Sukses dengan album pertamanya, tak menyurutkan semangat Siksa Kubur berkreasi dan menciptakan lagu baru. Pada bulan November 2001 SIKSAKUBUR kembali merekam 9 lagu dan dibubuhi 1 (intro) untuk album kedua BACK TO VENGEANCE.

Album kedua ini didistribusikan oleh ROTTREVORE records dalam sebuah format kaset, penjualan album ini termasuk fantastis dalam kurun waktu 1 bulan telah terjual 750 copy kaset. Rekaman inipun masih kurang sempurna tapi lebih baik dari album pertama.

SIKSAKUBUR mulai merambah event-event di Indonesia khususnya dipulau jawa hingga bali. Formasi album THE CARNAGE and BACK TO VENGEANCE adalah Japra (vocal), Andyan gorust (Drum), Ade godel (gitar), Burgenk (Bass) tapi setelah album kedua dirilis ADE GODEL mengundurkan diri dari SIKSAKUBUR karena tidak bisa membagi waktunya dengan band.

Disusul dengan BURGENK yang mengundurkan diri dari band karena harus melanjutkan study keluar negeri. Posisi ini di gantikan oleh Andre yang juga gitaris REVITOL dan Yudhi bebek ex- AUTHORITY, dengan formasi ini SIKSAKUBUR mengeluarkan album ke tiga yang bertitel EYE CRY album ini dirilis dan didistribusikan oleh ROTTREVORE records dalam format CD dan KASET.

Akhirnya tahun 2007, SIksa Kubur kembali menelurkan album keempat dengan tajuk "PODIUM". Album ini juga dirilis dan didistribusikan oleh ROTTREVORE records dalam format CD dan KASET. Download lengkap RBT SIKSA KUBUR.

deadsquad INTERVIEW

“berikut ini hasil Bincang-bincang sejenak kami (dapurletter.com) dengan salah satu band Death Metal asal Jakarta sebelum mereka memberi nyawa pada arena moshpit yang menggila.”
Bertempat disebuah café dibilangan Kemang-Jakarta Selatan, bernama Prost! Beer House. Malam itu, DEADSQUAD –salah satu band Death Metal Jakarta— band yang berpersonilkan Daniel – Vocal, Andyan Gorust – Drum, Bonny – Bass, Coki – Guitarm, Stevi Item – Guitar sedang ramai dibicarakan & menjadi sorotan oleh public, menggelar Showcase ditempat yang mulai diramaikan oleh para Metalheads dan Rock N’ Rollers Jakarta. Pada awal bulan Maret kemarin, DEADSQUAD baru saja merampungkan album perdananya bertajuk “Horror Vision” dibawah label Rottrevore Records. Nama DEADSQUAD pun kian melambung pasca dirilisnya album perdana mereka yang memuat 8 track cadas, termasuk sebuah cover song “Arise” milik Sepultura. Penulisan lirik lagu yang tajam dan mengancam, dibalut dengan dentuman beat-beat hyperblast pada drum dan bass, juga riff-riff melodius yang seakan menyayat telinga dimainkan dengan begitu cerdasnya oleh duo gitaris, Stevi dan Coky.
Malam itu (9/5), sebelum mereka unjuk gigi dihadapan crowd, kami dari tim Dapurletter.com berkesempatan untuk berbincang sejenak dengan DEADSQUAD, yang walau hanya diwakili oleh tiga orang personil saja (Daniel, Andyan Gorust, & Bone), namun bagi kami tidaklah sedikitpun mengurangi esensi. BIOGRAFI DEADSQUAD (DEATH METAL)

 

”TECHNICAL DEATH METAL EXTRAVAGANZA” bombards your auditory with no mercy thus structured aggressive intensity. The embellish combination between harmony, melody and complex brutality in every song brings up your heart to keep it rolled in your music player with non-stop headbanging. When the frenetic of Parc still exist, the two guitarists Stevie Item (Andra and the Backbone) and Ricky Siahaan (Seringai) gathered to make a new band to satisfy their desires with old school metal band. Before they separated, both are fight together to roused Step Forward. To complete the form, Bons (ex-player from Tengkorak) and Andyan (ex-player from Siksa Kubur) were invited to join. The first intention of this band is to play music for jamming session; Slayer, Anthrax, and Sepultura are the music they choose to play.
This band was not feasible to make their own music, because they think it’s just a project band. In their way, Ricky resigns from this band because of his work activities., In June 2006, Prisa (ex-player from Zala) appear to fill the inanity of guitar position. No longer from it, Babal (Alexander) recruited to be a vocalist. With this formation they firmed themselves as Deadsquad (DS). Since August 29, 2008 they outpace form the gigs circuit. They also start to write their music, their name was bustling everywhere.
Deadsquad is called as a super group because their names are recognizing in public. In November 2007, Prisa officially resign from Deadsquad, it doesn’t make Deadsquad crippled. They decided to stand with one guitar. In October 2008, Deadsquad found new profile to be the Stevie’s electron pairs. His name is Christopher Bollemeyer, a guitarist who’s known as Coki and listed as Netral’s personnel. In the same month, Daniel (Abolish Conception) joins to strengthen the form. March 2009. After long standing on stage and made one-two single, it is time for Deadsquad to disseminate the solid terrors. They cooperate with Rottrevore Records (Indonesia), they released Horror Vision as their first album.
It was launched in March 9, 2009 when they succeed in opening the Lamb of God concert in Jakarta. Manufaktur Replika Baptis. Is a single title that reflects the album which contains eight high voltage songs. By taken the lyrics with the dark side, all tracks in this album was arrange to the discipline composition; Technical Death Metal which bombards the metal music lovers Downstroke performance parade in guitar that blessed with melodic and harmonic leads will be the highlight for this album. Of those surely combined with hyperblasting-grinding solid loot drums and also growling and screaming maneuver at vocal. It’s just the right an old school nostalgic project at the beginning, but then the band’s exploration loops to the roots. They’re influenced from abroad bands: Necrophagist, Visceral Bleeding, Spawn of Possession, Disavowed, Decrepit Birth, until Nile.
Prepare your ear, broadly your view, release your mind. Through Horror Vision, the all stars death metal squad will be change your judgment about metal!!!
